I felt my essays and personal statement were strong and I had multiple eyes - including a family friend with an English masters look at PS.
I have very close relationships with all my letter writers - get Christmas cards, am at their houses for dinners regularly and know the intimate details of their lives. Not to be a self-obsessed ass, but I have been constantly told my entire life I am 'so warm and personable' so I doubt I just was an asocial creep in my interviews. I definitely struggled with some questions, but I thought I gave as good a picture of my virtual self as I could.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Besides applying lower and applying DO I do not know what to do. I feel like I must be missing something. Really hoping I get that voluptuous A in a few weeks, but if not I gotta start mentally preparing for a second **** show. Send me your wisdom SDN geniuses. Thanks in advance!!

Yeah I think it's just your school list. You don't fit Oregon's in mission group so probably weren't considered for admission. Only Miami, Cincy, Geisel, Michigan schools, and Brown (who favors own undergrads) were schools that weren't low yield or T20. I think you'd be fine applying MD if you applied maybe more around your geographic area (Case, OSU), more midtiers. Your application is killer though, hopefully those 3 schools pull through!

Thank you for the reply! I definitely bit off my than I could handle with the top 20s and low yields I sought out this cycle. I will definitely be applying to more mid tiers if I have to hop back in the chaos for another round of apps.
