WAMC School List 3.70/519 Non-trad

Your low clinical exposure hours will limit your chances for interviews. You will be competing with applicants with similar stats and many hundreds of thousands of hours of clinical volunteering/employment with patient contact and non clinical volunteering. I suggest these schools:
Indiana
Western Michigan
U Michigan
Northwestern
Rosalind Franklin
Washington University
Case Western
Ohio State
Cincinnati
Pittsburgh
Jefferson
Rochester
Hofstra
Einstein
Mount Sinai
Cornell
Vermont
Tufts
George Washington
USF Morsani
Miami
NOVA MD
TCU-UNT
Kaiser
California University
USC Keck

Thank you for your reply! Your list is very helpful. I have a few questions/concerns about the schools you took off my list...
Do you think applying to UCSF, Stanford, and U Chicago is hopeless? Why did you take those off the list?

Why did you take Stony Brook and NYMC off the list?

Also, would getting 50-100 more hours of clinical volunteering in a hospital over the next couple of months and updating my schools alleviate of the low clinical exposure hours problem?

Thanks for your help!
U Chicago is looking for applicants with many hours of clinical and non clinical volunteering. NYMC you could try but they may "yield protect". Stony Brook accepts few non residents with no connection to NY and UCSF admitted only 1% of non residents who applied last year. Accumulate 200+ hours of clinical volunteering over the summer so if you receive interviews you can discuss it during your interviews.

Thanks for the help! I was hoping the lack of clinical experience would be ok b/c of the pandemic, but I'll plan to get at least 100 more hours.
