What feedback have you gotten from SNMA/MAPS national or mentors?

I would feel more comfortable with your chances if you did have more service orientation activities other than soccer coach and teaching/tutoring. You imply doing community service through one of your clubs, so what details can you provide here?

You should get plenty of attention from all your in-state options, though Mercer usually prefers those committed to rural medicine (but I would apply anyway). You should include the HBCU schools though with your stats they may feel you might pass them over. Black Engineering majors with your stats are very rare in the medical school applicant pool, so call your shot, connect with schools, and let the schools recruit you.

We're actually in the process of getting re-affiliated with SNMA now, so I haven't been able to connect with SNMA about my application. I'll definitely take your advice on that and reach out though, thanks!
