Hey everyone, I would appreciate any feedback/advice on building a school list based off my stats for this upcoming cycle.

- 3.9 cgpa, 3.75sgpa
- 519 mcat
- state school
- ORM
- 1100 hours as volunteer MA for PM&R
- 1250 orthopedics clinical research hours: 2nd author abstract, 3 publications, 4th, 6th, 7th author
- 150 hours volunteering at soup kitchen
- state powerlifting records
- VP of exercise club
- 250 hours chemistry TA
- 50 hours chemistry tutoring
- 110 hours shadowing across 3 specialties

I suggest these schools with your stats:
All 4 SUNYs

Mount Sinai
NYU
Columbia
Cornell
New York Medical College
Albany
Rochester
Hackensack
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Dartmouth
Brown
Boston University
Tufts
Jefferson
Pittsburgh
George Washington
Duke
Emory
USF Morsani
Vanderbilt
Washington University (in St. Louis)
Northwestern
U Michigan
Case Western
Cincinnati
Mayo
Colorado

Just to add some color to this. I applied with similar stats to yours and a school list similar to what Faha recommends and I got 6 interviews and 5 acceptances. ALL from NY schools.

If you prefer to stay in NY, you can probably prune down some of the out-of-state schools and save yourself some time and $ doing secondaries. If you don't mind the residencies at NYU LI you could add that to your list as well.

A friend of mine with higher stats (526 MCAT) got similar interviews as me and the only out-of-state interview was at Yale. He did get accepted to Yale but there does seem to be a strong bias against NY applicants in out-of-state schools.
