Hey everyone, looking to see if I should make any last-minute changes to my school list before applying. Thank you for the help!

1. cGPA: 3.99 and sGPA: 4.00
2. MCAT: 521 (129/130/131/131)
3. Florida resident
4. ORM Male
5. UF graduate
6. Clinical experience: 525 hours as a scribe, 140 as a clinical volunteer. Projected 2000 more hours as scribe during gap year
7. Research: 1400 hours in clinical research, no pubs/posters but I was working on large, multi-center clinical trials with significant real-world impact.
8. Shadowing: 40 cardiology, 32 internal medicine, 20 podiatry (should I leave this in?), 12 vascular surgery
9. Nonclinical volunteering: 280 as a volunteer fitness instructor for persons with disabilities (60 projected during gap year), 120 working at a food bank for unhoused individuals (40 projected during gap year)
10. Other extracurricular activities: 700 hours in leadership across a variety of experiences, including cultural organization, student co-chair of 2 university committees, student government. Much of my leadership was in nutrition/health and I led a few university-wide initiatives on preventative health measures such as a flu vaccine drive and improving the nutrition quality of food served in dining halls. Also 125 hours as a chemistry TA, 600 hours on a competitive performing arts team at the national level
11. Relevant honors or awards: I only listed one, a prestigious school leadership award, and explained some of the accomplishments that led me to receive it.
12. The "theme" of my application is my commitment to preventative medicine. I focused many of my activities/leadership experiences and much of my personal statement on my interest in preventative medicine and plan to continue doing so in secondaries. Also taking 1 gap year.

Welcome to the forums.

1) For medical applications, you have enough shadowing in medical areas that you can leave the podiatry out. Use it if you have to apply to AACPMAS (you better not be relegated to podiatry).

2) I think your non-clinical volunteering is okay. I'm not sure how being a fitness instructor for persons with disabilities directly relates to the interest in preventative medicine (other than yes, we all need a more active lifestyle). I presume you have specific target opportunities with schools on your list on "lifestyle medicine."

3) Do you have any activities with more social advocacy flavor (for places like GW, UChicago, Columbia, Case)?

Drexel, Temple and Wake Forest will probably "yield protect"with your stats. You should receive several interviews from the other schools on your list.
