Clinical experience (volunteer and non-volunteer): Volunteer: Clinical research collecting blood from patients and actively recruiting new people to our clinical studies (150hr)
Research experience and productivity: 5000+ hrs. 3 labs (2volunteer, 1 paid). Presented original work at American Heart Association National Conference. First author paper currently submitted, waiting to be sent for review in Sci Translational Med (IF: ~19). Multiple middle author pubs in mid-impact journals ie. Cell Reports, etc.
Shadowing experience and specialties represented: 100hr - 50hr Cardiology, 50hr Primary Care
Non-clinical volunteering: Boys and Girls Club (600hrs); Tutoring (1000hrs)
Other extracurricular activities (including athletics, military service, gap year activities, leadership, teaching, etc):
-played tennis intermittently through college
-VP for university club
-director of pre-med society at current institution
-taking Spanish lessons

Anything else not listed you think might be important: aim to attend medical school with the goal of working in translational medicine. Had a death in the family week before 514 MCAT. Familial experience with terminal illnesses that are a continuous stressor
