Trying to see what schools y'all think I could get into. Tbh feel like my application isn't super special and sorta one-note. Hoping to get outta Texas. Let me know if y'all have any other advice to help me stand out.
  1. cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS or AACOMAS 4.0 both
  2. MCAT score(s) and breakdown 523 (132/129/131/131)
  3. State of residence or country of citizenship (if non-US) Texas
  4. Ethnicity and/or race Asian (Indian)
  5. Undergraduate institution or category UTD (smaller state school but pretty decent academically)

  7. Research experience and productivity ~1000 hours total (100 hrs one lab, 900 hours other w/ 2 posters and leading my own project at UTSW biophysics)
  8. Shadowing experience and specialties represented ~300 (200 virtual, 50 family med, 50 anaethesia/pain management)
  9. Non-clinical volunteering 150+ suicide hotline counselor (LGBT specific, a community of interest for me), 60 hospital admin
  10. Other extracurricular activities (including athletics, military service, gap year activities, leadership, teaching, etc) ~200 hours TA for Bio and EMS classes, 200 hours employed tutor, student senator, various officer positions in med clubs, IM soccer/weightlifting
  11. Relevant honors or awards National Merit Scholar, honors college, dean's lists, 1st in state HOSA pharmacology, 2nd internationally HOSA pharmacology, research fellowship, presidential volunteer service award

Some of the OOS MD schools may be interested in you but remove UC Irvine and UCSD since they admit very few non residents with no connection to the state.
