WAMC/School list feedback: MI applicant URM (3.88, 508 MCAT)

Hello all, I'm trying to make a school list for potential schools to apply to this May. I appreciate any feedback I can get.
  1. cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS or AACOMAS: 3.88 GPA 3.79 sGPA
  2. MCAT score(s) and breakdown. Include all (non-voided) attempts: 508 (127/124/128/129)
  3. State of residence or country of citizenship (if non-US): MI
  4. Ethnicity and/or race: Black/African
  5. Undergraduate institution or category: Small liberal arts school
  6. Clinical experience (volunteer and non-volunteer): 481hrs total
    -100 hrs as a hospice volunteer
    -60 hrs volunteering in a clinic serving uninsured/underserved patients
    ~ 321 hrs part-time as a caregiver in an assisted living and memory care facility most patients here are on hospice (will continue this throughout the app cycle)
  7. Research experience and productivity:
    • 450 hrs in undergrad (no pubs)
    • ~1280 hrs (by application time) working in biotech full time, providing data for preclinical trials with various sponsors (also will continue throughout app cycle)
  8. Shadowing experience and specialties represented: 50 hrs total across three specialties (Internal medicine, emergency medicine, neonatology)
  9. Non-clinical volunteering: 220 hrs total
    • Food bank volunteer: 80 hrs (still ongoing)
    • After-school volunteer in an underserved elementary school: 40 hrs
    • Orientation leader for freshmen: 70 hrs
    • Summer science camp assistant for underrepresented high school students: 30 hrs
  10. Other extracurricular activities (including athletics, military service, gap year activities, leadership, teaching, etc): - -Social media coordinator + event planner for the African student union (300 hrs)
    • Resident Assistant for 2 years (1000+hrs)
    • Event planner for biochemistry club (40 hrs)
    • Tutored many subjects all 4 years of undergrad (calculus, organic chemistry, general chemistry): 500 hrs
  11. Relevant honors or awards: Phi Beta Kappa, magna cum laude honors
School list: I’m trying to apply to 30-40 schools and also trying to stay in the Midwest/east Coast maybe possibly the South too. Not so sure which DO schools I should apply to.

Boost your hours with food bank closer to 150 hours by submission if you can. You should have 150 hours or else your application could be screened out by most schools. That said, your in-state schools still have your best chance for an offer, so hopefully you have networked with them and other schools that you highly regard on your list.

Are you part of any mentoring program for aspiring Black (male?) physicians? Have you met student officers of SNMA represented on the schools on your list?
