Hello, this is my first post on this site so I'm sorry in advance if I mess up or leave anything out. I am currently a senior in college and I'm planning on applying this semester during my gap year. I was just looking for any advice on school lists or any improvements I can make before June.

About me...

State of residence: Missouri
cGPA/sGPA: 4.0/4.0
MCAT: 511 130/126/128/127
Undergrad: Large State School
Ethnicity: White Male

Extracurriculars:

Paid Clinical:
- I have been working part time as an MA since July 2021. I plan on switching to full time when I graduate in May. (800 hours by time I apply)

Research:
- I have been working as research assistant since Jan 2021. Have one poster presentation and a co-author on a paper that is currently under review (750 hours by time I apply) Don't plan on continuing after graduation

Volunteer (IDK how to really specify between clinical and non-clinical so I'll just start with the most clinical things and and go down from there):
- Patient transport since Jan 2021 (320 hours by time I apply) Might continue after graduation
- Free clinic helper since Sep 2021 (50 hours by time I apply) Will not continue after graduation
- Crisis Text Line Jun-Dec 2020 (65 hours) No longer doing this
- Big Brothers Program Since Oct 2021 (80 hours by time I apply) Will continue after graduation
- Honors College Ambassador since Jan 2022 (45 hours by time I apply) Will not continue after graduation.
I also don't know if this would fall under leadership, club, or volunteer position

Shadowing (I spent a full week with each)
- Neurosurgery with clinic and operations in Aug 2019 (45 hours)
- Anesthesia with only surgical procedures and pre-operation assessment in Jan 2020 (40 hours)

Paid Non-Clinical:
- Spent a summer working full time in a warehouse in May-Aug 2019 (550 hours)

I would like to stay in Missouri or at least the Midwest but I'm willing to move pretty much anywhere if necessary. None of my friends are premeds or if they were they dropped it a while ago so I have no reference points aside from these forums and it's terrifying to see all of these people with amazing stats and ECs get denied everywhere they apply. The current list of schools I have is essentially just 2-3 points on either side of my MCAT average using MSAR, and I would really appreciate some advice to maximize my chances without spending an egregious amount of time and money applying to 35 schools if I have no chance at them, or if there are others I am a better fit for.

My current School List:

University of Missouri-Columbia
SLU
UMKC
Penn State
Loyola
Tulane
TCU
Rosiland Frankland
Miami
Wake Forest
Wisconsin
Creighton
NOVA
A&M
Texas Tech
KU
George Washington
Georgetown
Rush
VCU
Eastern Virginia
Oakland University
Wayne State
Drexel

Thomas Jefferson
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Colorado
Tufts
New York Medical College

If I am missing any important info please ask in the comments or message me individually.
Thank you if you made it this far lol.

Remove the Texas schools (except TCU-UNT) since they admit few non residents with no connection to the state. You should receive several interviews from the other schools on your list.
Thank you so much. Are there any other schools you think I should add?
