Hi everyone, I am looking for some advice on my current school list and which schools I should be applying for. I am open to both MD and DO. I am currently in an SMP which I started immediately after undergrad, so I did not have a significant gap between my bachelors and my masters.

These are my stats:
3.5 cGPA (upward trend)
3.51 sGPA
4.0 SMP (final course is a P/F)
512 MCAT -> 129/123/129/131
A.A. in Preclinical Mental Health, graduated with honors
B.S. in Psychology (biopsychology specialization), graduated Magna Cum Laude
M.S. in Medical Physiology (2 year program)
MD resident, born in NJ (lived there for ~10 years)

Experiences:

~1000 hours clinical experience, between MA in cardiology and IM, as well as ABA Behavior Technician (very passionate for autism care and will be a significant part of PS)
~60 hours research - no pubs
~125 hours volunteering (100 nonclinical, 25 clinical in hospital) - also currently still working on this and could be about 125-150 nonclinical by application submission.
~1500 hours hobbies - Weightlifting (unsure if this should be added but it is something very important to me and an inspiration for studying exercise physiology)

LoRs:

2 MD physicians
2 Professors (one in psychology, one in genetics)
1 Committee letter from the med school of my SMP

I am still learning which schools would prefer my stats and would love to know which schools that would focus more on my deficiencies (like research hours or CARS) to avoid.

School list (MD):

UMD - IS
BU
Rowan
Drexel
GW
Georgetown
Hackensack Meridian
Wisconsin
OSU
Rutgers and Robert Wood Johnson
UMass Chan
UMiami
UVA
VCU
VT
Wake Forest
Wayne State

School list (DO):

Rowan-Virtua
NSU-KPCOM
KCUCOM
Touro Harlem

I really appreciate any help I can get. Thank you!!

What feedback has your program directors given you about your list? Which schools have they been more successful with, especially with applicants with a similar background as yours?

Why isn't PCOM included on your DO list?

Still awaiting an appointment with my advisor next week regarding the school list, but will be adding PCOM now. I've spoken with advisors previously who've mentioned little about the specifics on which schools students received acceptances from, but they have referred me to students who got into schools on my list. My program does however offer a list of schools where each class year was accepted at, but it does seem to be majority DO. Thank you!

What is the breakdown of your 100 hours of non clinical volunteering?
Sorry for the late reply, its all in habitat for humanity, with about 10 hours in construction and 90 so far in the re-store. Should I be seeking more variety? Its something I've been consistent with for a couple years with pauses in between for school/work.

Some schools screen at 150 hours of non clinical volunteering. Some of the schools on your list are unrealistic with a GPA of 3.5 and a MCAT of 512, though your SMP of 4.0 will help.
I suggest these schools with your stats:
Maryland
West Virginia
George Washington
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Penn State
Hackensack
New York Medical College
Albany
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
Wake Forest
Methodist (when it opens)
NOVA MD
Belmont
Alice Walton
Roseman
TCU
Rosalind Franklin
Medical College Wisconsin
Oakland Beaumont
Wayne State
I suggest these DO schools:
WVSOM
VCOM-Virginia
PCOM
LECOM
NYITCOM
Touro-NY
MU-COM
DMU-COM
KCU-COM
ATSU-KCOM
AZCOM
TUNCOM
CUSOM
NSU-KPCOM
ROWAN-Virtua
