Hey guys, wanting to know if my list is too top heavy and if there are any schools I should remove/add. Thanks!
  • Country/state of residence: Va
  • Year in school: Rising Senior
  • Undergraduate Major(s)/Minor(s): Majors in Biology and Math
  • Cumulative GPA: 3.78
  • Science GPA: 3.76
  • MCAT: 519 (130/129/131/129)
  • Research Experience: About 900 hours in a biology lab over 3 years, presented a poster at a school symposium and presented at/competed in an international synthetic bio competition
  • Clinical Experience (paid or volunteer): Around 200 hours at a local free clinic with direct patient contact (vitals, urine/pregnancy tests). Not really clinical but around 30 hours with a pediatric cancer organization.
  • Physician shadowing: 150 hours with a radiation oncologist (probably should have spread this out over more specialties)
  • Non-clinical volunteering: 160 hours as an assistant basketball coach for a youth recreational team (16-18 year olds), 50 hours on the Youth Committee of a religious org.
  • Other Extracurricular Activities: On my school's student-run honor council, got my EMT certification last year
  • Other Employment History: Biology Lab TA for 2 semesters
