Did you grow up in a rural community, and is your FF/AEMT work serving a rural community or county? A lot of those hours could be non clinical volunteering so you may need a little help breaking it up a little, which you noted.

You need shadowing and you should get additional nonclinical volunteering hours. I can’t say anything about your clinical experiences because I really have no idea what you have.
Forget about the research and focus on what you need to fill holes in your application.
