cGPA and sGPA as calculated by AMCAS or AACOMAS: c3.86; s3.89
MCAT score(s) and breakdown: 517 (130,128,129,130)
State of residence or country of citizenship (if non-US): GA
Ethnicity and/or race: Asian
Undergraduate institution or category: top 5 public university for my major
Major: BME
Minor: Biology
Clinical experience (volunteer and non-volunteer) 70 hrs children's hospital, 70 hrs cancer center
Research experience and productivity 40 hrs working on creating a new EHR for COVID-19 vaccination records +200 hrs at work (BME industry).
Shadowing experience and specialties represented 100 hrs in the ER
Non-clinical volunteering: Tutoring (300 hrs), Student Hospital Connections (30 hrs), Various activities (30 hrs))
Other extracurricular activities: Dance team (finance chair for 2 years, safety officer for 1; 2000 hrs), cultural org (marketing and logs chair for 1 year; 60 hrs)
Relevant honors or awards standard deans list, etc.: Dean's List, Honors Program, degree in Indian classical dance
Anything else not listed you think might be important ~1800 hrs working in the medical device industry (2 companies; was a engineering intern for both at first and transitioned to part time during the school year)

Before December, I will study abroad, volunteer with the crisis textline, get more clinical experience at the children's hospital and cancer center, and start a chapter of a volunteer organization at my college. I'll continue being finance chair and safety officer for the dance team. I'm debating if a update letter and applying now would be fine or if I should take a gap year to gain more clinical experience and research experience.

Take the gap year to get more clinical experience.
