Along with these, I was going to target some lower end schools. I was wondering if you could give a look at them and say if I'm wasting my time/money applying to some:
Meharry
Louisiana state-Shreveport
Morehouse
North Dakota
Texas-Rio grade
Florida state
Northeast Ohio
Central Michigan
South Carolina - Columbia
East Carolina
Northwest- Illinois
Wright state
Michigan state
South Carolina - Greenville
Rowan
Mercer
Howard
Alabama
Loma Linda

Sorry for this really long list. I appreciate you taking time out of your day to help!

Are you African American ? If not remove Howard, Meharry, Morehouse. Other than Loma Linda, the other schools on your list are state public schools that accept very few (if any) non residents with your MCAT and no connection to the state. For example Mercer admitted zero non residents last year and Florida State only 4.

No, I'm Indian. Okay I'll only add Loma Linda to my list rn. Thanks for the advice!

I included some state schools just because my stats look good for them but upon further investigation I'll edit them out.

Do these look good?

Okay so right now my list is looking like this:

PSU
Geisinger
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Pitt
Florida state
Michigan state
South Carolina-Greenville
Texas tech Paul foster
Oakland Beaumont
West Virginia
University of South Carolina
Texas tech Lubbock
Alabama
Loma Linda
Vermont
Toledo
Louisiana state new Orleans
Wayne state
Utah
Texas A&M
Uconn
Albany
Eastern Virginia
Seton hall
Wake forest
Quinnipiac
George Washington
Rutgers
Virginia Commonwealth
New York medical college

Do you really believe you will be one of the 4 applicants admitted to Florida State out of 4,500 non resident applicants ? If you want to waste your money on OOS public schools they will appreciate the donations.

That's true. I think I'm just being too hopeful with my current low stats. Thanks for opening my eyes. I'll remove that and some other state public schools
