Hey everyone, just wanted to come on here to ask WAMC/school list recommendations. Thanks!

NJ ORM
3.96, 3.95, 518
1 gap year

EMS volunteer: Around 300 hours, 3 year span, concerned about this one because I wasn't a certified EMT for this. I attempted a certification course but failed out (I know it looks bad but trust me some instructors can be a pain in the ass, I am attempting to redo the certification course this summer)

ED scribe: 360 hours, 9 month span

Hospice volunteer: 60 hours, 2 month span

Shadowing: 40 hours cardiologist, 10 hours ED

Food pantry volunteer: 30 hours, 5 month span, ongoing

CTL: 30 hours, 5 month span, ongoing

Microbio research: Wet lab research, around 300 hours, 2ish years span, 3 poster sessions, no pubs

Chem TA: 60 hours maybe, 1 semester

Bio TA: 250 hours maybe, 2 semesters

Freshman peer mentoring: 30 hours maybe, 1 semester

VP of two clubs on campus

Thanks again!

Some schools screen at 150 hours of non clinical volunteering so your chances for interviews are limited to some extent.
I suggest these schools with your stats:
Your 3 New Jersey state public schools
Hackensack
Hofstra
Mount Sinai
New York Medical College
Albany
Rochester
Vermont
UMass
Tufts
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Pittsburgh
George Washington
Virginia Commonwealth
USF Morsani
Miami
Vanderbilt
Washington University (in St. Louis)
TCU
Northwestern
Western Michigan
U Michigan
Cincinnati
Iowa
Colorado

Those schools you listed sound awesome, I honestly am fine with any decent MD, thank you!
