Welcome to the forums.

Doesn't LL require a letter from a spiritual leader? Do you have one to navigate this requirement?

How long have you been playing guitar? What do you do with it?

I can understand your in-state options. I'm guessing you want feedback on expanding that list for OOS options? Honestly, the GPA is okay, and DAT feels average among applicants. Not bad. The experience descriptions don't excite me, but that's your challenge for your AADSAS application. I don't think the public schools are good options with your GPA/DAT though, but I can be corrected (I'm looking at Colorado, Ohio State, and Oregon HSU). You do need more privates to fill those spots. UW is not going to be friendly to California applicants who don't have superstar statistics.

Thank you for your reply!

Yes, I have a letter for LL sorted out. It's from a high ranking spiritual leader as well, so I think that should help. He knows me well, too.

I have been playing guitar for 3-4 years and I usually just play for myself. Occasionally, I'll play for the family.

Why would you say my experience section doesn't excite you? Is it the fact that there is nothing unique or extraordinary?

I do understand that I have some schools that are out of reach, but I think its worth a shot if money isn't too big of an issue? (especially the in-state ones)

What do you think about my chances for LL, USC, and WesternU? They are my closest schools and my top options. Thanks for your help!

First, I understand the need for privacy so I don't get too upset about lack of detail. I trust it's on your application. However, given the information you provided, I don't get a compelling reason to interview you. I'm not sure it's about being unique or extraordinary, but it's definitely about whether you'd be someone I (in place of a 50/60-year-old preceptor) would enjoy having as a student learner. A professional interview should not focus on your soccer accomplishments.

It depends on your purpose as a dentist and your mission fit. It's not clear to me what either of those is, which contributes to why I'm not getting a reason to interview you.
