Undergrad Attended: University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
Major: Biology
Minority? don't know if this counts but queer & asian lol, first-generation student, disadvantaged applicant

Shadowing Experience: ~200 hours in general dentistry
Volunteering Experience: ~300 hours
Employment: dental assistant ~150 hours. Also co-managed an airbnb property for 3 years.
Other Extracurriculars: E-board for pre-dental club (2 years), E-board for student magazine (2 years), E-board for cultural club (2 years), among other extracurriculars

Have you volunteered/shadowed/attended events at any dental schools? umich dental waxing event
LOR type and strength: 2 science LOR, 1 dentist (strong), 1 from volunteer coordinator
Misc Info/Things not stated elsewhere/Red Flags: transfer student. there's also a downward trend in my GPA due to losing direction (started strong almost all A's my first two years with dental in mind, ditched that idea halfway through college, and then returned back to dentistry). Also lost a parent during that time. Took a gap year.
