MD WAMC? URM

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
You have many state public schools on your list that accept few non residents with your MCAT and no connection to the state such as:
Ohio State
Oregon
University of Arizona College of Medicine
University of Arizona College of Medicine
University of California, Los Angeles David Geffen
University of California, San Francisco, School of Medicine (LOL)
University of Colorado School of Medicine
University of Nebraska College of Medicine
University of Washington School of Medicine (accept less than 1% of applicants who are not from state in the Northwest)
Schools such as Harvard, Johns Hopkins, Washington University, Cornell, Stanford are unrealistic far reaches with your MCAT scores.
I suggest adding these schools:
Vermont
Quinnipiac
Albany
New York Medical College
Seton Hall
Drexel
Temple
Jefferson
Georgetown
Virginia Commonwealth
Eastern Virginia
Wake Forest
NOVA MD
Oakland Beaumont
Medical College Wisconsin
Rosalind Franklin
St. Louis
Creighton
Loma Linda
California University (new school)
There are a few schools that consider Pacific Islanders as URM but you will need to check with each school. Some of the CA schools may do so.

Hi, thanks for the feedback.

For the schools that accept very few OOS, I fit into their mission group because I am part of WICHE. I had emailed each one of them and had told me that they would consider me as some sort of a "hybrid in-state" because if accepted, I will pay resident tuition.

For the unrealistic schools, is it any merit that I have done research at 3 of the 5 institutions you named?

I mean, I did do summer research at those institutions. Im currently doing long term research in a competitive program at one of those "unrealistic" schools. I think I have at least a fair shot.
