So my neurobehavioral research has policy implications since we're looking at nicotine developmental exposure and I"m devoting a part of my honor's thesis to discussing policy changes that should be made based on my findings, my political psychology lab is looking at anti-vaccination movements and how they propagate, and the Army research is open-source intelligence research on their policies and doctrines and I'm making it more health-care related.

In addition, I'm mainly applying for public health research labs/opportunities at NIH or Americorps so I've narrowed my focus a bit there.

I am applying in 2024 and my summer internship is in Summer 2023.
Great. Have you taken any classes regarding policy and science or public health? It sounds interesting but you should also narrow some policy interests and understand why you want to do this instead of clinical medicine. There are legislative policy fellowships that are available throughout your career, but you need to think about whether you want the clinical aspect.
