you have the 4 texas schools that are amongst the most difficult to get into in the countryShould I be applying to more? It's just super expensive...
I'm comfortable with my list and I know my DAT isn't the best. I will likely retake it and follow your advice if not admitted this cycle... I know it will be difficult. Now I'm wondering if I will even receive any interviews..?you have the 4 texas schools that are amongst the most difficult to get into in the country
and your DAT is below the US matriculant average (20.5)- you probably want to check the DAT averages at texas schools
and then the 2 arizona schools, which are in the top 6-8 most expensive schools in the country
are you comfortable with that list?
you have a reasonable shot at interviews, but how many and if they will lead to acceptances is not knownI'm comfortable with my list and I know my DAT isn't the best. Okay, thanks! I will look into adding more schools! Any suggestions for OOS friendly schools?you have a reasonable shot at interviews, but how many and if they will lead to acceptances is not known
adding schools will increase your odds...
i suggest you research schools that have a history of accepting tx residents and hispanics...Okay, thanks! I will look into adding more schools! Any suggestions for OOS friendly schools?
Yes, I grew up in Texas and I’m fluent in Spanish. No, I haven’t connected with HDA or SNDA officers.. Should I?OP: Did you grow up in Texas? Are you fluent in Spanish? Have you connected with HDA or SNDA officers at the schools on your list?

what school?
have you kept in contact with admissions from there?Texas A&M
No, I haven’t…have you kept in contact with admissions from there?
what have they told you about your application?
it's also cheaper to add more schools now than to wait a whole year to reapply to more schools and miss out a year in practice...you have a reasonable shot at interviews, but how many and if they will lead to acceptances is not known
adding schools will increase your odds...
Where in Texas? In the cities or rural areas?Yes, I grew up in Texas and I’m fluent in Spanish. No, I haven’t connected with HDA or SNDA officers.. Should I?
I’ve pretty much been solo throughout my journey…
You’re right, will add a few more schools to my list.it's also cheaper to add more schools now than to wait a whole year to reapply to more schools and miss out a year in practice...
A city in the dallas-metroplex area. Will look into HDA and SNDA.Where in Texas? In the cities or rural areas?
That's the reason why you need to check with HDA or SNDA.
