Misc Info/Things not stated elsewhere/Red Flags:
Attended community college first two years of undergrad. First semester had 1 F in english (repeated got an A) with 5 Ws between my first and second semesters of college. I earned a 3.5 in community college with 67 credits. I transferred to a 4 year and I earned a 4.0 at my institution with 40 credits. I took upper level courses such as organic, physics, cell/molecular biology, biochemistry at the 4 year institution. Prereqs such as general biology, general chemistry, english, and stats were taken at community college.
School list:
VCU
UAB
Meharry
Maryland
Upitt
LECOM
How did I come up with my list:
I take pride in my volunteering and I feel like that reflects my personal statement and the person I am in general. I want to go to schools that really prioritize community outreach. Additionally, I want to stay close to the east coast. My school list is restricted because of the amount of community college credits I have/attending community college in general. Also, some of these schools offer instate tuition after the first year. I believe there is no such thing as safeties for dental schools so I only have reaches and targets. UAB and Meharry are very much a reach. My targets are VCU, Maryland, Upitt, and Lecom.
