want your opinion on CME conventions

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
I'm not shelling out anything for them.
They waived the ridiculous registration fee for me 🙂

Getting to the actual convention is going to be expensive
I'm just trying to figure out if it will be worth my time and money

Always good to network and to meet people in the specialty of interest. Also, many conferences have satellite events that may include free dinners, etc.

Thank you Dr. Kim. Many of the physicians giving lectures are excellent human beings IMO who devote part of their time in third world countries. After much thought as to whether this expensive trip will be worth it, I've concluded that it will be an opportunity to learn more about my specialty of interest and provide me with the motivation that I need to keep trekking during my second year of medical school. First year was emotionally challenging for me and I seriously need something [ANYTHING] to help me stay focused and disciplined 🙂
