I submitted my AADSAS on 6/3/14 without my DAT scores. On 6/12/14, my GPA is calculated. I took my DAT on 7/19/14 and it showed up on AADSAS on 7/31/14. I read throughout the forum that usually it takes 2-4 weeks from the time AADSAS receiving my DAT score until they get to dental schools. Is this true?

On my AADSAS portal, all of the designated schools still say that Received/Waiting Additional Information ever since I submitted my application. When should I be expecting interviews (so I can save up money for flight tickets,etc.)? Any helpful input is much appreciated.

schools start reviewing applications at different times. Some schools have not started while some have.

There is an acceptance rejection thread here on SDN.

Start saving up money for interviews now. Get your suits ready.

Don't expect everything fully updated on aadsas,

Check emails and answer your phone if you don't know the number.

Yes, 2-3 weeks to process DAT scores.

You can't really predict when, you could get an interview soon after everything is processed and reviewed or you could get an interview late in the cycle in March.

Depending on your stats, you may get early interviews. I have 2 already.

If theyre lower than average then you may be waiting for post-dec interviews.

Just be ready to interview asap.

How far apart is the interview date from when you received the invite?

It depends on the school. Could be a week, a few weeks, a month.

And some schools only give you specific dates to choose from, whereas others may give you a range (e.g. the month of November, etc.).
