I feel like i am treated like mcdonald employee thesedays.
Agreed. Strangely, that window also changes the whole psychology of the customer as well. They approach those drive-thru's like they are there to order a bag of fries not some potentially life altering medication.

I will never understand how someone decided they were a good idea in the first place.

People should be happy to take a little time & tolerate inconvenience to get medical issues resolved CORRECTLY.

Someone else said it better than I did, but if a soccer mom has a van full of kids jacked up on sugar like a coke fiend and is picking up meds for her hard-of-hearing grandma...do you really want that in your store?

Makes for a good isolation barrier if someone's coming in with (insert communicable disease brought back by anti-vaxxers here).

These situations never resolve until someone "important" gets hurt. A senator's mom ends up in the ICU with a stroke because she got warfarin 10 and not 2 and you bet there will be regulation. Regarding quota. People love to be anti-regulation pro-market until it they get to expierence it personally

Now speed comes before accuracy at retail pharmacy.
As healthcare professionals, is there anything we can do to stop big chain pharmacies doing this? (Sue them? Go on strike? Anything?)

I feel like i am treated like mcdonald employee thesedays.

Or do i just need to find another jobs..?

retail pharmacy is becoming the new McDonald indeed.

as there are about 142 pharm schools now (and more in the process of opening) to pump out more and more grads, I am pessimistic about what we can do to stop this trend. Employers can always find people to replace you. If you do not want to do this, another people will take your job in an instant. Heck, new grads would do your jobs for less.

IMHO, try to save enough and/or pay down your loans while you can and get the hell out.

My y employer gives too much pressure on speed with already understaffed team.
It seems like this company never care about patients' safety (because it is pharmacists' fault)..

And I actually started to see more number of misfill thesedays.

I am trying to get out of here but job market is not good. 🙁
