I interviewed at Wash U early in the season. I was quite impressed. They have very strong leadership. Dr. Macones is the new chairman. He came from Penn where he was the head of the MFM department. He seems to be fantastic. Their numbers and fellowship matches are excellent. I think you could easily do MFM, Onco, or REI from there. I did get the feeling that they go over the 80 hours on occasion. Overall though, a happy group of residents and a nice program.
Wash U is high on my short list. I feel that the training rivals some of the stronger east coast programs.
