i heard that wash u chooses who to get the interview invite mainly based on numbers. Is this true? i go to a top 15 school and have roughly 3.6/31 but very strong research and extracurriculars (publication in a high impact journal, varsity athlete, etc.). If they value numbers way more than extracurriculars, then I dont wanna spend my money on their secondary cuz my chances would be slim. Thanks in advance!

they want high numbers (i dont think the statistics lie.. washu has the highest mcat/gpa average in the nation) but you better believe you can have high numbers and still have great ECs, essays, etc.. those are the people that get into washu. unless you have ties to the university, i'd save my money.

Don't waste your money. Wash U values numbers more than any med school in the country. Your application would be trash canned.
