Hi all,

Just trying to gather some thoughts about Wash U. I'm having a hard time placing it in my rank list, so I wanted to hear some opinions. My memory of my interview day is a bit fuzzy. Were the residents happy? How busy are they? Surgical numbers? any comments much appreciated.

The residents seemed happy to me, at least on my interview day. The surgical numbers were included in the packet of information they provided to all applicants. I think they were busy enough, but not too busy in that they still have enough time for a 10wk research elective in the first year.

It's a great program. Extremely nice faculty, changed the clinic to make it more resident friendly last year I think, and the chair is fantastic and supportive. I think the feature that stands out is that the faculty as a group is extremely friendly.
