Hi all,
I could use some advice. I've been accepted into both the Drexel MSP program and the Washu StL postbacs.
My stats are: 3.34 cGPA and 3.0 sGPA and 25 MCAT. MSP gives me a chance to take a formal MCAT course to improve my score and from what I've heard the classes are oriented to the MCAT. There are only 2 undergrad courses offered though. WashU offers an MCAT course but its much less focused on and they offer much more undergrad courses that would increase my gpa (some that I've already taken and think I can perform much better in).
The MSP program is a year long; I'd apply for med school the summer afterwards and matriculate into the IMS (med school classes with Drexel MS1s) during the glide year. I talked to a WashU rep and he said it could take anywhere from 1-3 years to repair gpa there.
I'm leaning towards MSP because it seems much more formal w/ a focus on MCAT? What do you guys think is best for my situation? Drexel MSP or Washu? Thanks!
ps. WashU is much closer to me since I live in the midwest
