Is anyone else having serious problems loading the WashU website (like, any part of the website). For some reason, my computer says the pages can't be located. And it's only the WashU website my computer is having trouble with. Is this happening to anyone else? Help!!!

LOL. I wrote it, like, a week ago and forgot what it's about. Something about overcoming challenges? I think I wrote about my really, REALLY ****ty high school education to try an justify less-than-stellar frosh grades. I hope that's kind of along what they consider an acceptable answer, because that's what I want to write about.

The website is back up! I finally decided to leave the essay blank. The best I can make of the darn ambiguous wording is that it's a place to give information that would make them interpret the rest of the application differently, like your sorry high school not preparing you for freshman year. I've got great stats and the rest of my app is solid on its own, and the question does say it's optional. I just hope I'm not screwing up!
