Waterloo - applying early?

Hi,

I want to ask if anybody knows whether applying early has an effect on your chances? I'm doing my OAT mid August, and was planning to apply after I get my scores since the deadline is October.

Just wondering if there would be any real advantages to applying early, and not just "to be safe"?
