Ways to update schools on new activities?

If a new activity was started after submission of the primary and secondaries prompts don't allow to address it, is there any other acceptable way to update schools on newer activities or is it just something we will have to wait to talk about in the interview?

If a new activity was started after submission of the primary and secondaries prompts don't allow to address it, is there any other acceptable way to update schools on newer activities or is it just something we will have to wait to talk about in the interview?

Many AMCAS schools allow update letters (but some don't, or restrict when they can be sent). Others have a portal for transmitting that sort of information.
