Does this person have a DNP or something? If so, this is simply misleading as the average person will assume that she's a doctor in the usual sense, which she is not. If she does not actually have a doctorate, how is this not illegal?

Interestingly enough, in NY state (where this PLP works) "doctor" doesn't seem to be a protected term, however, calling oneself a "physician" apparently requires actually being a MD/DO.

I'm sure there are PAs somewhere who belong to a union, but that would be a rarity.
