We have more posts than IM now.

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.

If I had an Aston Martin do you think I would be here talking with you?

No, I would be sitting in it probably 24 hours a day with brief bathroom breaks and shower breaks.

If I had an Aston Martin I'd be in traction right now. Or undergoing the latter half of my major reconstructive surgeries.

My major beef with IM is that it always paints itself as being so intellectual, but after spending all you time playing ad hoc social worker, psychiatrist, bureaucrat and activities coordinator, who has time to think about the patient's disease?

One of the spine surgeons at our hospital rolls around in an Aston Martin. That thing is f*ing awesome. When he is in the OR at night we go out to the trauma garage and drool over it. Rumor has it that he grossed $8 mil last year, but I'm not sure how true that is (although he is at the hospital damn near 24/7).

I feel really bad for the urology forum. Perhaps some of us should switch from path to urology.

1-2-3-NOT IT!

Yes but anesthetists are notorious for their aggressive posting and applying to 80 programs just so that they can post all of their interview acceptances.

I didn't know there were Rad-Oncers hanging around. That's nice.

We have reached the 10,000 post mark.
And believe it or not, with this post we are only 48 posts behind the anesthetists!

I am glad that my L&D day is allowing me to notice things like this. Post-partum rounds done by 9:30, lots of snacks at the nursing station, 3 other clerks (two of them elective students!) who are eager to see more patients and write more detailed notes than myself.

Unfortunately since there are runners I can't come up with an excuse to take that placenta to pathology.

I've been watching for a few days now...Guess I can add my 2 cents worth.
Yes, path rocks, and we are the coolest people alive! 😀

10,000 posts, ah yes. Nice round numbers. Insignificant from the cosmic perspective, but interesting nonetheless.

I don't think we will ever catch the ER people though. They go nuts in there.
