I'm a M1, newly engaged. I'd like to get married during September of 3rd year. Most people seem to get married during the summer, easier to plan, but I'd really like a fall wedding. Is it possible? I'd love some advice from those who have done it.

Are in school in September? Is your wedding going to be in the same town as your medical school? If there is no problem getting that time off (maybe sitting out a rotation?) and you're not far away from your wedding locale, then I guess things might work out.
I know I'm planning my wedding for late summer so that I can invite all the people I know who are still in school and might have to travel to get there. If you don't have any complicating issues, you've got plenty of time to plan it, so best of luck!
