Weekend Coverage

Hey all! Just wondering if anyone knows of any positions for weekend coverage. Currently in fellowship and looking to keep up anesthesia skills and do some extra work! Appreciate any feedback!

The worst thing to do is having to get malpractice insurance to work this extra job, then you find a real job that pays for the malpractice, and you get hit with tens of thousands for (technically optional) tail coverage to terminate your old malpractice insurance.

Avoid this by going through an agency. Or if you go through a group/hospital ask them to add you to their policy. Ok other worlds they pay for it. And make it occurrence based.
Shouldn’t cost too much if you work very little throughout the year. Depending on where you live could cost you 1k a quarter if you had to pay for it.

Before the pandemic, we would use fellows for coverage from time to time. Nowadays not so much.
