Weekend locums

Any of you guys take on extra weekend locums work (either nearby or across the country)? Any leads on agencies that are good for these kind of jobs?

I am a partner in a job with minimal weekends and a lot more vacation than I need but could use the extra money to help wipe out my student loans in the next few years.

Since you’re just looking for weekend type work, why not just call the practices that are driving distance from you and ask them directly. It’s not like it’s gonna be practical to fly 1/2 way across the county for 2 days worth of work - especially when you’ve got little kids at home.

I did as SalttDog suggests when I did weekend and post-call locums work. The groups took care of malpractice, and we negotiated pay directly.
