Advertisement - Members don't see this ad

Why do I see mostly DO's in commercials advertising weight loss pills? I just saw a commercial for Rapid Slim and some DO is recommending it. It's the third I've seen.

They are getting poor residents to do the ads. These guys make less than I do, and work twice as much, and in return, the people who make the product get to have it endorsed by a doctor, probably at a nice bargain. The residents get some nice spending money that will make their residency a little more comfortable.

I'd do it in a second.

Hydroxycut uses a DO guy...who they honestly had on there way before he was a doc...and a female MD.

One I saw today used a DO, didnt mention his school though.

Why are we hating on this guy. If people are dumb enough to buy those pills and expect to look like him, then they deserve to be ripped off. nobody ever says anything about the the doc's that are over prescribing meds like ritalin, to millions of kids who don't have a choice, just for some sweet incentives from the pharms.

I think purists in the medical community feel that doctors should be doing things for the greater good and helping people. If I was as ripped as that guy I would probably do the same thing. Some media exposure and cash on the side is not such a bad thing.

ud do it too if u could. I'll prob do it as well. I've been approached by supplement companies about doing pics but never had the time due to my military sched. As previously mentioned, its a great way to make some extra cash and let's face it who here doesn't need that. Plus some of this stuff really works.

You know I am not sure I would or would not do an advertisement. I have two room mates. One models for American Eagle and the other did the whole I lost weight with Hydroxycut. Needless, to say there is an endless supply of hydroxycut in the place and nice clothes. They dont make much money, both work at a gym. I think the only time I would put my name to a product is if I developed it.

Side note, I am the oldest in the house, and they are ten years younger and call me Master Splinter. hahahaha

That reminds me. I had a dream last night I was recruited by Janice Dickenson Modeling Agency. What a weird dream/nightmare.

I hate all weight loss pills because some pills have a lot of side effects. I believe natural health and i think if a man want to loss his weight then he should eat balanced diet and do any exercise.
