I didnt interview at Program X (declined invitation), so I didnt rank them, but I got an email today that said "we need to receive your USMLE scores at this time" and it was made out specifically to me. Is that weird?

My friend just checked his email in computer lab and got same email. He thought it was probably a communication with someone who was scrambling for a spot at that Chicago institution.

Got the same email and ensuing "Sorry, this was sent in error" e-mails as well. Mine wasn't made out to me specifically though.

Didn't apply for Anesthesiology, but I got an out of the blue call from a place I must have had on the ERAS but didn't interview at. Isn't this some sort of match violation if I already matched??? Really odd. I think it's the first time I heard from the place since I submitted ERAS.

i know EXACTLY which program you are talking about. I think it's good that we're not mentioning the name of the program. But it is interesting how I received about 4 or 5 emails from them within the span of a few hours.

i'm faxing my SAT and OAT scores (yeah like 8 years ago i considered optometry - long story), and i might photocopy a body part and fax that too.

No I just think that they mixed up who applied with who was scrambling. Probably everyone who applied to Rush got one of these (or 4, seeing as how the day went)
