Long time lurker, first time writer....Just want an opinion/shoulder to cry on
I recently sent in a secondary for a school on the east coast after blazing through the essays getting the last LOR writer that I needed. This letter came from a doc that I know pretty well so he acts very casual around me while I shadow him, have lunch etc. At one point a few days ago he started to tell me how much thought he put into my letter and even quoted a phrase from it that he liked.
Problem is I guess we like to think alike and I used the same exact phrase in one of my secondaries for the same school he submitted the letter to. My thought is that the given phrase is pretty common especially in medical/social service documents, but i am worried. I know some ppl would say that this doc shouldn't have talked about it, but we have a trusting relationship.
Would this somehow hurt me a great deal? I am sure that generic phrases are thrown around here and there, but will this come under scrutiny that badly? i just dont want to be taken by surprise later on
thanks...
