Hi everyone!
So I was wondering if anyone has attended/attends an undergrad school that does not grade with + or -. And if you know what that would mean for my PTCAS gpa?

Thanks!

To the best of my standing, you enter the grade on the transcript is the grade you get for your PTCAS gpa. They don't change your grade based on a local grading system if that is what you are asking.

Does you happen to know what you do if you have a separate grade for a lab?

For example, it's a 4 credit course. However you get a grade for the 3 credit lecture, and a separate grade for the 1 credit lab?

I'd recommend making an account on PTCAS and taking a look at the coursework section, it's pretty straight forward

for this specific question when you input the class it has a section that asks for lab grade if applicable.

You just enter your grades exactly how they appear on your transcript. If you were mostly an A student it is a good thing for you actually, because the classes you would have gotten an A- in it will count as 4.0 instead of 3.7 (and A+ counts the same as A anyway). For grades of B and below you could get helped or hosed. Helped if it would have been a B- obviously, but hosed if it would have been a B+ under a different grading system. I had a couple more A-'s than B+'s in college so the +/- system actually lowered my GPA slightly, but only by like 0.02 or something.
