I posted a similar question over in the pre-dental forum so to those of you who saw both, sorry for the double post.
I'm just curious what everyone thinks of splitting up pre-med type courses. My work schedule takes me away from home for 3-6 months at a time (followed up about the same amount of time off) which makes it real hard to take classes consistently. I've got a Bachelors of Aeronautical Science with a GPA of 3.79 but virtually no science classes (had one semester of physics).
Because of my schedule I've been playing with the idea of taking one semester of classes (biology, chemistry, any other misc classes that I can) and then taking a semester off (back to work), and then the next semester (3rd) taking the other half of the classes and so on until I've got most of the pre-reqs done.
Anybody have any advice/thoughts on this route?
Thanks,
