I'm trying to understand what this question means. I'm not sure if I need content help yet though. What is meant by "if the fluid velocity is greater". Greater than what?

When comparing two points of fluid flowing through the same horizontal pipe, if the fluid velocity is greater, then:

A. The random translational motion of the molecules is less.
B. The random translational motion of the molecules is greater.
C. the.....is unchanged
D. the uniform translational motion of the molecules is less.

The fluid velocity at one point is greater than the fluid velocity at another point? Is the '...' in C random translational motion too?

regarding the "...", yes.

and you're probably right about the other part, too.

thank you
