Welcome to the New Asst. Moderators!

This forum made possible through the generous support of SDN members, donors, and sponsors. Thank you.
Woo Woo! Welcome! You both have always offered kind and wise advice. 🙂

Warm congrats to both of you.

Now here are the pagers, you get first call on all reported posts :meanie:. Calls are qday and there is no such thing as a break or post-call. You may call your seniors if you feel you are in over your head but remember, 😴<-- seniors when you call.

:laugh: HAHA, just joking, but warmest congrats.

congrats to both of you!

for such a warm welcome. 😀

In the interest of full disclosure, I wanted to share my first ever post on SDN, but I couldn't find it. In any case, I'm sure everyone here has seen plenty of posts just like mine: I had just started to learn about osteopathic medicine, and wandered into the DO forum asking questions like: "So do ODs get any training besides OMM? ODs are like, real doctors? Why doesn't this forum have a search function?"

Rather than ripping me a new one like I probably deserved, a couple of patient and knowledgeable SDNer's pointed me in the right direction and changed my life forever. Now, three years later and a year and a half into my medical education, history repeats itself as I wander into the Step One forum asking "What's a UWorld?"

Through it all, SDN has been a great resource full of wonderfully wise and hilariously funny people. I'm happy to be able to give back a little of the help I've gotten over the years.

Here's my old mdapps profile if anybody's interested. I'm a nontrad at a PBL school, so anyone with questions about PBL, or wondering what it's like to be in med school after a long hiatus, or any questions I might be able to help with, feel free to drop me a line. 🙂
