after having had to deal with anatomy, cell bio, histology, gnathology, PBL, and whole bunch of other useless classes we finally did some dental work this week.


did my very 1st amalgum fillings on:

#31 class I
#15 class V


it was by far the best week of dental school. doing the prep was a little hard on the 1st one but did my #15 in 10 mins. yep, prep and restoration.

actually i found it exremely easy doing it on #15 since i learned how to prep/restore #31 first (i went through 4 teeth before i got this right :laugh: )

just a matter of practice i guess.

Taco, the #15 is a buccal lesion, and the old-school mounting equipment at IUSD permits easy direct vision.
