West Coast Interviews

Ok... so I am planning on applying at a few places on the West Coast, but I live in Pennsylvania. If I do get interviews at these places, do any of them have phone interviews or something where I don't have to travel across the country?

you're not interviewing for a bank teller, rather a DDS/DMD degree, from the likes of UCSF, UCLA and UoP at that too.

do any schools even have such thing?

You would think in the age of technology that a video conference could be set up.

I doubt video or phone will ever be the option for an interview though.

no, everyone travels for interviews.
make sure you save money for interview trips (or at least have few credit cards ready) because lot of times you will receive interview only in 2-3 weeks advance and plane tickets can become pretty expensive if you fly more than 5 times (i think i spent about 2-3k just for traveling for interviews)
