Are you sure that list is inclusive? I checked my state college too and it's not there and neither is Emory University which is considered pretty ivy league-ish in GA so maybe they just didn't have every school in the system. You should call the admissions office and personally ask them to be sure.

Wow, that's so wack. I'm sorry to hear but I'm sure there are plenty of other schools that are willing to accept your prereqs. I never heard of it being an issue at any other schools...

Purdue University isn't on that list either and IU Bloomington's chemistry courses are "being evaluated". Sounds odd. Oh and Harvard isn't on there either. So they wouldn't take someone that completed prereqs at Harvard? That's hard to believe.

Just get good GPA, and WesternU should be the least of your worries when time comes for you to apply.

i live in CA and like this i lost the admission of one school in my state so like this it decrease my chances to got admitted to a dental school !!

Well, it's not like you were going to apply only to CA schools, that would be foolish.

Harvard, MIT, Princeton and Yale aren't on that list but I'm sure they accept those credits.....

Just because the school is not on the list doesn't mean they don't accept your classes. There are 1000s of universities not on that list. Perhaps Western simply hasn't entered them in....

Just to add, doesn't make sense they accept credits from other CSUs but not from CSUB.

I agree with LaughingGas , CSUB coursework should be accepted if the others are, why would anyone go to CSUB if it was the only cal state that had units that weren't acceptable at professional schools?

Relax. They will accept your pre-reqs from any accredited college whether it's a CSU or Harvard. Their online list is not complete. Even the course listings for the colleges listed, I know from personal experience, aren't complete.

Use some common sense and you'll be fine

It's pretty weird because I went to UIUC and they accept the lower level genchem and orgo but the accelerated version. Interesting?
