does anyone know if Western U will accept retaken classes if they're taken summer 06 for the fall class of 06?

i know their website specifically says pre reqs must be completed by spring quarter/semster. what about classes we need to retake that are pre reqs?

Any westernU students who have been accepted experience this?

i thought the whole issue with western and not allowing summer 06 classes for fall class of 06 was because their academic year starts earlier than most other pharmacy schools and that you wouldn't have time to finish a summer class before the fall pharmacy classes start...

i received a C- in a class and western website says all pre reqs need to be C or higher.

Hey, you should call WesternU and find out if they would accept your C-? They might be more flexible now that u are accepted.

Btw what class did you a C- in? If it's possible, see if you can take this class over again at another college for Spring qtr.

I am not a Western U student, but there was this one girl who took the molecular biology class I tutored in summer... because she was accepted to Western U for fall 2005, got a C- in molecular biology (in spring 2005) and her admission was revoked. She told me she cried and begged but that they wouldn't make any kind of exception for her to re-take it in the summer. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news 🙁 .
