for the western u supplement pre req worksheet, are you guys just putting basic bio courses for the bio section, or are any of you putting any other courses i.e. anatomy, zoology under that part?

the reason im asking is bc i did better in my upper division science courses so i'm not sure of what i should put..thoughts?

Put in the Bio courses that they are asking for (general biology). You can even look up your college and see what courses would be the equivalent.

I hand-picked all the upper div bios that I did best in. Worked for me.

well before i submitted, i sent an email to my admissions counselor and she said to list courses as a part of a sequence..which did not include my upper div science courses. oh well.

Here's a website that you can use from WesternU. It shows all the courses they accept and it's sorted out by school.

WesternU dental school website --> "Requirements" link on the left --> click "search for the prerequisite database" link below the chart

oh haha thanks ill do that too 🙂

for the extra info sec, what did you write about?? & how long was it??

I wrote a page of information. Regarding what I wrote, it was mainly about my experiences in college, volunteer experience, and my work and how they affected each other. I recently had the chance to speak to my interviewer. He says they like to pick "battle-tested" individuals. We have a few ex military, people with work experience, and several that have multiple attempts to get into d-school. Basically, this supplemental page is a good place to expand on your life experiences and show a little about yourself and your determination to reach your goals. They want more than just good grades and dat.

It's a prerequisite worksheet..not every Bio class you took that you did well in worksheet. So look up your school and it'll tell you exactly what they require from that school. And then insert those classes.
