Hello,

I recently got an email from Western U about being selected for the interview process! I'm really excited but also nervous because there is going to be a writing sample on the day of the interview. I honestly don't know much about writing samples.

What are writing samples? How do I prepare for them? What is the purpose of a writing sample?

The writing sample is just a random prompt that they ask you to write about. It’s usually non PT related, and they just do it to make sure you know how to spell, use correct punctuation, etc. At least that’s what I was told. Don’t stress about it.
