I am very excited about getting an interview from WesternU since the school is really close to my house. Any advise on how to prepare? I have been reading other posts but still very nervous for some reason. Any idea how full the school is now? Thanks

The interview was very conversational. As for interviewing for a real spot, yes, they still got some left as of today.

The school is way chill, ask questions that pertain to the newness of the school, i.e. How can I voice my opinion if I feel something can be better? Is it OK for the students to form some type of committee to help improve the school? Let them know that you will be honored to be part of a inaugural class. Everyone is so nice and there program is setup to succeed. Maybe see you there good luck.

Yea. I just went to school yesterday to check it out. The area is def the downside but I talked to one medical student and he said that most ppl live in Chino. Man.. I am nervous for this Tuesday.

I can't decide. I am pretty sure it won't be ASDOH, too much time spent in Arizona. I would like to go to USC because I hear it is a little more "relaxed" but because of price I am leaning towards Western, you?

haha, I would LOVE to say I have a choice among Western, UOP, and Midwestern. Haven't had my interviews @ MW and UOP yet, and I haven't heard back from Western. So we will see!!! You have a 33% of seeing me @ Western at the moment.

Ya I dont know about my chance anymore. I was talking to my advisor about one of my concern. I put down UOP as my number 1 choice on the survey. I noticed a lot of people left those 2 spaces BLANK. It could be a bad thing since they're gonna be thinking....ok this kid doesn't seem to like our school that much, why don't we give that spot to someone else who actually want to come to our school. I dont know....that is one my concern after I spoke to my pre-health advisor...haha

Man... I just went to the dental seminar with my dentist and coworkers today. Its about "how to love dentistry and get rich."<--- Yea that really is the title of the seminar. Hilarious!!! You guys should check them out. Its called Madow Brothers. I video taped the last part of it and I will post it on youtube later, but man... they are freaking hilarious. The seminar at least make me stop thinking about the school a little bit and think about how to be successful in dentistry even though I was checking my phone the whole time. And still no luck. Any luck david?

haha no no luck for me. Well like Dean Tumbly was saying, you're only gonna get accepted, rejected, or being put on the waiting list right??? After you got interviewed. I dont think I did bad enough to be REJECTED. So I am gonna be either accepted or put on the waitinglist soon enough. We shall find out!!! Have faith man, have faith!!!

I highly doubt they remembered where we sat...and I know that the western secondary is done through computer typing...dude I'm sure we are okay.

LOL...BTW i checked my selections and the directions said to fill in the circle...all my circles were DARK (filled in) with little tails.

Sad I'm laughing at this..but i actually find it hilarious....They must have looked at it and been like "Jeez, just pick up your hand so you dont go out of the circle with your damn pen!"

I got the mail on Saturday but did not open the mail box till yesterday.. So, I guess I got wait listed right away after the interview.

I really liked the school though, so I'll keep hoping, but at least I am not glued to my phone any more. I sincerely wish you the best of luck and hopefully we will both get in at the end!!!

Thanks... I hope you hear back from school too. It's real tough. Now that I know I am on the waitlist, its even worse. I called Hazelle and she said that the class is 2/3 full now and there are two more interviews left. So, just hope for the best....

I am also waitlisted, my letter arrived today. I am extremely bummed out too. But let's hope that both of us will get lucky and will get the good news in the near future!!! It seems that there is plenty of movement on these acceptance lists as people turn schools down, so you never know....
